Jonathan Kozol Book Event

On September 17, 2005, MCEF, in collaboration with the Center for Teacher Leadership and other interested groups, sponsored a lecture by Jonathan Kozol, author of "The Shame of the Nation: The Restoration of Apartheid Schooling in America". Held at Blair High School in Silver Spring, the event attracted a large number (300-400) of citizens interested in achieving more equitable education in Montgomery County Public Schools.
